W. Renata Dixon
W.
Renata Dixon has proven accounting and financial
management skills in her 30-year financial management career. Renata
graduated from the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. During her
four years at Georgetown, Renata was the Comptroller for Student Activities,
Vice President of the Student Government and earned her Bachelors in
Accounting.
Her extensive accounting career began
at Ernst & Young, where she continued her training in accounting,
working at multiple tasks and client management.
While in insurance, she was in control of $2 million annual budget,
including periodic management and financial reporting and managed a
twenty-five person remittance processing operation handling approximately
$95 million per month. She has also managed an eleven-person
collection department responsible for the collection of approximately $100
million in delinquent insurance premium and a three-person investment
accounting unit responsible for the GAAP, statutory and management reporting
of a mortgage portfolio totaling $7 billion.
Renata was the liaison with state regulatory agencies during
insurance fraud investigations. She
was the key representative during regulatory and financial audits.
Renata
has demonstrated proficiency in automating
existing processes while achieving efficiencies and increasing
effectiveness. She has developed and implemented extensive computerized
systems to track, assess and report revenues and expenses.
In addition, she has experience in evaluating, auditing and reviewing
the financial condition of going concerns in the insurance, banking,
manufacturing, health care and non-profit industries. Renata also has
experience in board training in the areas of financial responsibility and
oversight. Renata has successfully used these skills to assist organizations
as they transition their financial management functions through
periods of organizational change and growth.
